So far, 2015 has been full of new beginnings: 12-step programs, coffee with butter and coconut oil, a new full-time job that comes with an office that I don’t have to share with an industrial furnace.

Changes. It makes sense that the Studiola experiences some changes in formatting and programming, too. Starting this spring, I’ll continue to pursue people who have something to explore for a month at this site, but one change is that some of the months will be groups or collaborative efforts. As part of a local, food-focused writing semester at area schools, I hope to publish strong work by local New Orleanians who have observations of their city.
